OHRV Rental Policies & Information

Reservations are highly recommended but walk-ins are always welcome! 

Bear Rock Adventure's requires 25% deposit of total booking cost in order to reserve a rental.

Cancellation Policy: 

  • All cancellations will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
  • Full refunds minus the 20% cancellation fee will be given if cancellation is made 48 hours in advance of the reservation start time.
  • If a reservation is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the reservation start time, the payment will be completely forfeited.
  • We offer a one-time rescheduling of a reservation if the rescheduling is made 48 hours in advance of the reservation start time. Rescheduling is based on rental availability & must be rescheduled for the current year riding season.   
  • Please call 866-663-9777 if you wish to cancel your reservation.

 

Rain or Shine:

Our reservations are Rain or Shine. Please plan accordingly. Rain gear is highly suggested. 

 

Operating Requirements:

  • You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license. The license must be presented the day of your rental. (NO EXCEPTIONS) If you are unable to present your driver's license the day of your rental you will not be permitted to operate the vehicle and your rental fee will be forfeited.
  • Drivers between the ages of 18 and 20 who can present a valid driver's license and are accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire rental period will be allowed to operate a rental vehicle with signed release of liability by the parent or guardian present.

 

Passenger Requirements:

A passenger means you will strictly remain a passenger and WILL NOT drive the rental vehicle. Passengers have to be able to grasp the hand holds and firmly plant their feet with their back fully against the back seat rest. Seatbelts must be worn and buckled properly. All passengers under the age of 18 must wear a helmet and fasten it properly. 

Mandatory Damage Waiver Program:

Ensure you have a great ride with Damage Waiver options that limit your out of pocket expenses should you damage the vehicle during your ride. The accidental damage waiver rental protection options are as follows:

  • Minimum Protection- For $15 per day, renter is responsible for the first $4,000 of any damages to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived.
 
  • Mid Protection- For $30 per day, renter is responsible for the first $2,500 of any damages to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived.

  • Maximum Protection- For $60 per day, renter is responsible for the first $1,500 of any damages to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived.

Please note the day of your rental Bear Rock Adventures pre authorizes the damage waiver amount in full based on the damage waiver you've purchased. The full amount of the damage waiver MUST be available in order to rent the OHRV, no exceptions. The damage waiver is used to cover loss, damages and expenses associated with the operation of your rental. The list of charges below is an example of the fees that may be incurred in the event of a loss. It is our policy to charge the credit card in full once damage has been observed.
  • Cost of parts to include but not limited to: tire & rim damage, body of vehicle, roof, and accessories
  • Labor for repair
  • Loss of rental income (if the unit is not able to be rented due to damage, loss or needed repairs )
  • Recovery fee for vehicle
  • any accessories included but not limited to GPS, air compressor, rear view mirrors etc.
  • Helmets

 

Refueling: 

All rentals are sent out with a full tank of gas. You can refuel on your own or the following refueling charges will apply. 

  • Polaris Sportsman 570 SP Touring: Empty $30.00 / Quarter $20.00 / Half $15 / Three-quarters $10.00
  • 'Ultimate' Polaris RZR S 900 & 'Ultimate' Polaris RZR 4 900: Empty $40.00 / Quarter $30.00 / Half  $25.00 / Three quarters $15.00
  • 'Ultimate' Polaris Ranger Crew 1000 XP: Empty $50.00 / Quarter $40.00 / Half $30.00 / Three quarters $15.00 
*please note: all of our machines take regular gas*
 
Late Returns: 
 
A $30.00 late fee for every 30 minutes will be charged if the OHRV is brought back late. A $125.00 late fee will be charged if the OHRV is brought back 2 hours late.  After 2 hours the late fee will be a full day rental charge.
 
Inclusions:
 
The rental fee includes a trail map, helmets and goggles for all drivers and passengers and a full tank of gas. Helmets are required to be worn by anyone under the age of 18 per NH state law. Drivers and passengers 18 years of age and older are not required to wear helmets but it is highly recommended.  
 
Things to bring along:
 
  • Eyewear - sunglasses, prescription glasses and goggles are all acceptable forms of eyewear; eyewear is mandatory
  • phone
  • water and snacks
  • bug spray and sunscreen
  • durable closed toe shoes; open toe shoes are not permitted
  • several layers of clothing
  • rain gear
  • gloves

 

Arrival Time:


We highly recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your reservation in order to complete all of the required paperwork and go over the operation of the machine. Late arrivals will cut into your rental time.
