Fish the Wilds

Whether you’re fly-fishing for big rainbows or tossing a line in while enjoying a riverside picnic, fishing New Hampshire’s Great North Woods will be an experience to remember. Relax in scenic natural surroundings. Catch a glimpse of moose, osprey or loons. Pull in a fighting brookie. There’s no better place than New Hampshire’s North Country to get away from it all and go fishing.

Soar the Wilds with ELC Outdoors' new high ropes course located at their new outpost in Errol, NH - the only course like it in the North Country! There are 12 exciting aerial adventures that can be done continuously from start to finish. Navigate from the penguin platforms to Burma buckets, multi-line traverse to their two zip lines. No matter what elements you choose you’ll have a blast!

Rapid River Float Plane Adventure : Begin this amazing adventure by hopping in a float plane operated by Acadian Seaplane Adventures in Rangeley, Maine. Fly from Rangeley to historic Lakewood Camps located on the shores of Lower Richardson Lake, near Middle Dam. Transfer over to one of ELC Outdoors' white water rafts and cruise down the wild and scenic, Class IV Rapid River to Lake Umbagog. The float plane will then pick you up in the lake and fly you back to Rangeley. With the combination of flight and rapids, there is not a better adventure package in the North Country!

 

 Boat the Wilds   We have many options for you to explore and a variety of experiences for you to try. Whether you want to paddle, white water raft or seek wildlife on a pontoon boat we have it all. Camp the Wilds Whether you want to fly in by seaplane to a remote site or nestle in next to a river full of trout we have the location in the great north woods. Check out some of the links we have to find the best location for you.

Hike The Wilds   There is no need to hike amongst hundreds of others when you can hike in Coos County. Hike hundreds of miles of maintained trails that lead to spectacular vistas and jaw dropping views. Read further for a few of our suggested itineraries.

Bike the Wilds The roads are less traveled and the network is just developing but we have some of the best dirt roads and multi-use trails that are just prime for bike riding. More information will be coming soon.

Snowmobile the Wilds  When the snow arrives there is no better place to ride than in the great north woods. The trails open just before Christmas vacation week and stay open until the middle of April (weather permitting.) The local snowmobile clubs maintain hundreds of miles of interconnected trails that allow you to ride from NH to Maine to Vermont even across the border into our neighboring country Canada.
