Millsfield ATV Club Maintained Trails can be accessed from 3 locations on Route 16: Pontook Dam (which has parking), Newell Brook Road, and from Millsfield Pond Road, which intersects Route 16 at the southern Errol town line called Seven islands. The parking lot is about 6 miles up on Millsfield Pond Road.
There is a new parking area with trail access on 110A just off Route 16 towards Cedar Pond Rad.
The trails intersect Route 26 in Errol at two locations: Log Haven restaurant and campground, and at a large parking lot on Signal Mountain Road. The trails cross Route 26 near Log Haven and become the Umbagog ATV Club trails on the north side of Route 26.
Parking: Dummer: (Summer Only) Dummer Pond Road, located on West side of Route 16, 0.5 miles South of Pontook Resevoir/Dam. Dummer: (Summer Only) Newell Brook Road, located on West side of Route 16, 2.5 miles North of Pontook Resevoir/Dam. Millsfield: Millsfield Pond Road, located off Route 16, 0.4 miles North of Errol/Cambridge town line. Go West on Millsfield Pond Road 5.5 miles to parking area. (Winter parking only at beginning of road/Seven Islands.) Millsfield: Pond Brook Road, located on South side of Route 26, 5 miles from junction of Routes 16 and 26. (Winter parking only at beginning of road.)
Trails: Please note the 13 Mile Woods Trail that adjoins this system will be CLOSED for the season effective 10/16/17. The remainder of the Millsfield ATV Club trails is open for year round use (usually until April, with the onset of mud season.)
Restrictions: ATVs ONLY – No trail bikes. ATV use not permitted on plowed roads during winter.
